Original documents are in PDF format and are available for navigation, printing and downloading.

In some cases, the requested document cannot be retrieved. You can however view a corresponding document .

The European Patent Office endeavours to obtain facsimile versions of all published patent applications.

Click on "Maximise" to increase the size of the facsimile document to make viewing easier.

To save a European patent (country code EP) or an international patent document (country code WO) with up to 500 pages, click on "Download" and follow the instructions provided. If the document contains over 500 pages, "Document too large" will appear and you will have to save the document one page at a time.

The download limitation for any other patent document is 250 pages.

We recommend to use at least Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 7 and a Windows platform is advisable.

Please insert http://*.espacenet.com (or any other relevant Espacenet server) into the Trusted Sites folder that is to be found under Tools, Internet Options, Security.

You have to enable (permit) cookies on your PC. Otherwise you will print or see the first page only in the print preview. If your internet is always (automatically) set to ban (disable) cookies then you have to change your settings for our webpage and start from the Espacenet homepage again.

In the Internet Options of the browser, on the General page, click on Delete cookies and Delete files. Configure the settings of the Temporary Internet Files. There are more possibilities for checking newer versions of stored pages:

• with "Never" it will not work
• with "Automatically", it should work
• with "Every visit to the page", it should work

A restart of the Espacenet homepage is required.
